David Auer

Experience:

David Auer is the Managing Partner of Auer Woodley CPAs.  Over the past 26 years as a CPA and Attorney, he has consulted with clients regarding complex tax, legal and financial matters  including business planning and transactions; merger, acquisition and divestiture due diligence; private equity structuring and contract negotiations; and trust and estate planning.  Mr. Auer works with a variety of clients including: high net worth/income individuals and family groups; trusts and estates, and privately-owned businesses in the development, supply manufacturing, distribution, real estate, oil and gas, and professional service industries. 

Education and Professional Designations:
 
B.S.B.A and a M.S. degree in Accounting from Oklahoma State University, a J.D. degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation degree from New York University School of Law.  He is both a CPA and an Attorney, has the Personal Financial Specialist designation from the American Institute of CPAs and is a Fellow of the Espirti Peterson Institute and Estate and Wealth Strategies Institute at Michigan State University.

Loni Woodley

Experience:

Loni started his career with McGladrey & Pullen LLP where he spent 10 years in the general service area serving clients in banking, construction, nonprofit, retail, manufacturing and distribution among others.  Loni worked as a tax, audit and general business consultant to several clients.  After 8 years he was promoted to Senior Manager.  Loni was then hired by a client as their Chief Financial Officer.  He spent the next 13 years as the CFO to 3 different companies and was able to successfully apply the training within public accounting to the internal operations of these companies.  In his career he worked as the CFP and internal consultant for organizations advising them on several issues including strategic planning, turnaround, restructuring, operational efficiencies, complex refinancing issues and human resource changes.  Loni worked with large public organizations and small entrepreneurial businesses.  Specifically, he has successfully negotiated a $100 million refinancing package, lead several projects to restructure organizations of over $50 million in revenue, lead efficiency teams that created over $10 million in operational savings and trained basic concepts of strategic thinking to several senior management teams.  This included training and developing the "bottom line" inside perspective of managers and leaders of the company.

Jerry R. Hilderbrand

Experience:

After graduating from college in 1974, Jerry received an appointment to the FBI Academy in Quantico, Virginia.  Choosing instead to enter the field of Public Accounting, he joined the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen & Company.

In 1977 Jerry was hired by an international Fortune 500 Company for the specific purpose of negotiating and litigating open issues between the corporation and the Internal Revenue Service.  Over the next two years he developed an in-house tax department and through negotiation and litigation reduced the ultimate tax liability to less than $43 million.  Jerry was then appointed as a director of the corporation handling legal, financial, people-oriented issues in the corporation's 30 subsidiaries as well as 160 independent distributors.

In 1984 Jerry purchased a  CPA firm, offering tax consultation and tax planning services as well as highly specialized consulting services to small and medium-sized businesses in the start-up and adolescent stage of their development.

Marty Sanders

Experience:

Marty started his career in 1962 as an Associate Accounting with a CPA firm in California.  After 8 years, he broadened his career to include banking experience as Manager of Internal Audit, Senior Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, Treasurer and Chief Executive Officer for several companies.

In 1994 he opened his own CPA firm in Colorado Springs, Colorado using the experience he gained from the positions he had held over the previous 32 years.
